Custom Application
Custom application to centralize and manage retail and e-commerce financial sales reports for Brandy Melville
Financial sales reports from physical stores and the e-commerce channel are now collected and managed on a single platform.
Thanks to the new dedicated interface, Excel reports can be quickly imported into the management system, without manual entry.
The application was designed to reliably handle a significant amount of data, keeping performance and data consistency intact.
Brandy Melville, a clothing brand with physical stores worldwide and several active e-commerce channels, including us.brandymelville.com, handles a significant volume of sales data.
Data coming from the different physical stores and online channels was scattered across separate sources, making it hard to get a unified, up-to-date view of sales performance for financial reporting.
Finally, the data coming from standard Shopify exports was not complete or suitable for the management system currently in use.
A custom application was developed to manage Brandy Melville’s financial sales reports, able to collect and organize data coming from physical stores and e-commerce channels on a single platform.
A small dedicated interface was also built for exporting Excel reports, allowing data to be quickly loaded into the management system while keeping the information consistent and reliable.
