The client’s needs
The old site ran on a custom platform built many years earlier and still had no standard cart-based purchase flow.
The best fit in this case was Shopify.
The products relied on a specific way of handling the price list and their features, and that had to be preserved.
Finally, the site had to be integrated with the Voxmail newsletter service.
Goals
- Keep the existing search rankings of the e-commerce site, preserve the existing features and build a custom app for product management.
- Give the e-commerce site a new look, with a more modern and functional design.
- Streamline the product management process and automate it wherever possible

- Development of the graphic template for the new Shopify e-commerce.
- Setup of 301 redirects from the old products and categories to the new ones (revised with SEO in mind)
- Development of a custom app for product management according to the client's requirements.
